Have you ever felt like you’re not living the life you want to live? I know I have, and that’s why I’ve decided to downsize from my five-bedroom house to a coach and hit the road. Many people have asked me if I’m going through a midlife crisis, but the answer is no. I’m simply taking control of my life and living it the way I want to. I’ve recently gone through some tough times, losing my sister and almost losing my boyfriend Rich to illness. These events made me realize how short life is and how important it is to live it fully. And with my kids all grown up and leading their own lives, I’m an empty nester now, free to pursue my own dreams. My sister and I always talked about living on a bus or opening an Airbnb in France. I’ve chosen the former, and I’m excited to explore the world from the comfort of my own home on wheels. Downsizing wasn’t easy, though – I’m a bit of a pack rat, and I love to shop. But I’ve managed to let go of things I don’t need and bring only what’s essential for my new lifestyle. I know some may think I’m crazy, but I’m confident that this is the right decision for me. I’m not going through a midlife crisis – I’m just living my best life. And I encourage you to do the same – take control of your life and live it on your terms. After all, we only have one life to live.
